TRUTH FINDER: A Quest of Logic
TRUTH FINDER is a fast-paced logic puzzle game where you build logically correct lines by landing True and False Stones on the Board.
As you progress, you will unlock new levels and logical challenges while earning up to 300 stars for completing levels quickly.
For more information, see the in-game tutorial or download the full game manual (in PDF).
TRUTH FINDER is currently available for desktop platforms only. Mobile devices are not supported.
❖ Gameplay
Two differently colored Stones fall down the game Board one after the other. Your goal is to complete all the required logically correct horizontal lines before the Stones pile up to the top.
To achieve this, you can move the Stones left or right and change their color as they fall. Completing all the correct horizontal lines wins the level. If the Stones reach the top of the Board, it is game over.
❖ Story
You are Alex Vanth, a researcher at the prestigious Cours Industries, Inc., a cutting-edge research corporation led by the enigmatic billionaire Frederique Cours. While investigating a tropical island on your latest assignment, you uncover a mysterious puzzle mechanism that operates on fundamental principles of logic. Can you solve all the puzzles and uncover the ultimate truth?
❖ About the game
TRUTH FINDER is a proof-of-concept game inspired by the truth table technique, a method developed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries for studying the foundations of mathematics and logic. Pioneered by philosophers such as Peirce, Wittgenstein, and Russell, this technique remains fundamental to modern logical reasoning.
At its core, the game is built on the syntax and semantics of classical propositional logic. The key mechanic is a truth table decision procedure, where your goal is to arrange truth values TRUE (represented by green Stones) and FALSE (represented by red Stones) to correctly evaluate logical sentences on the game Board.
❖ Features
- fast-paced logic puzzle gameplay – a unique blend of Tetris-like mechanics, sudoku-style reasoning, and symbolic logic.
- historically inspired mechanics – based on methods developed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries to explore the foundations of logic and mathematics.
- two game modes – a standard mode with 100 levels of increasing difficulty and an arcade mode featuring an infinite number of randomly generated levels.
- stylish minimalist visuals – a clean design that enhances gameplay clarity.
❖ Controls
In-game actions:
- [LEFT] / [A] key moves the falling Stone to the left.

Either there's a bug or I'm really misunderstanding the rules:
The bottom row was my error. But why is the top row here wrong?
Thanks for the feedback! I assume this is from the standard mode (not arcade mode). The game flags the line as incorrect as it does not respect the initial positions of the Stones on the Board (so, both negations have to be either red or green). In other words, the lines is correct from a purely logical perspective, however, it does not respect the rules of the level (it is not one of the lines to be found). I should better communicate this in the game, thanks again!
